Jay Rodriguez Officially Invited to ADCC at -88kg

The 2022 ADCC West Coast Trials Champion Jay Rodriguez will be making his return to the ADCC Worlds this summer, as he has officially been invited by the organization to the -88kg division. Jay is known for his aggressive pace, strong wrestling, submission escapes, and how quickly he has improved in the sport - competing at the elite levels after just a few years of training submission grappling. He previously competed at the ADCC World Championships in 2022, and placed at both North American Trials this season.

The ADCC made the announcement today via Instagram;

The -88kg division is already packed with talent, with more championship-level grapplers expected to join in the coming weeks & months. The medal stand in 2022 featured Giancarlo Bodoni, Lucas Barbosa, Vagner Rocha, and Eoghan O'Flanaghan. The confirmed division, including the 7 current Trials winners, so far is;
