Reis applied an Anaconda Choke to beat Shay Montague, making his WNO debut, at WNO 23: Nicholas Meregali vs. Rocha.

It was the third submission of the night and followed the fastest submission in WNO history by Achilles Rocha, who won in 16 seconds. For Reis it a bounce back after he lost the Featherweight title to Diego Oliveira.
