How The Pros Predict The Berkut BJJ Event
Just like Caio Terra said, the Berkut BJJ event is not just one of the biggest cards of the year, but of the decade! With so many big names competing in a series of grappling superfights, we reached out to some of the top names in the game for their reactions.

As a fan, I can’t wait to watch it myself.
– JT Torres

I’m very, very excited to watch them.
– Rubens ‘Cobrinha’ Charles

This card is awesome, man.
– Gabriel Arges, 2014 World No-Gi champion brown belt

Romulo Barral vs Andre Galvao

It may sound like being there for your team, but I really believe that Romulo will get the submission. His game is just so sharp and he’s on point, he’s been training no gi this entire year – he’s more than prepared to go there and get the submission.
– Gabriel Arges, 2014 World No-Gi champion brown belt

I’m expecting Andre Galvao to take it home, man. I expect him to push the pace the whole entire time – I know he’s in shape, his skills are deadly from every angle. Every aspect of the game, he’s sharp. He’s ready to go. I’m expecting a big ‘W’.
– JT Torres

Felipe Pena vs Yuri Simoes

The 2014 [No Gi World] weight and absolute champ, against the 2015 weight and absolute champ! It’s not a co-main event, it’s two MAIN main events!
– Caio Terra

Yuri and Felipe will be a crazy fight, that’s going to be an explosive fight. Yuri just became ADCC champ [88kg] and Felipe took silver [in 99kg], so that’s going to be fireworks. That’s a perfect formula for fireworks. That’s a fight I’ve always wanted to see. I’m going to be watching that one for sure.
– JT Torres

I really expect Felipe to get a submission, he’s looking so great. Yuri Simoes is a great competitor too, they both have an open game. I think Felipe’s going to submit Yuri.
– Gabriel Arges

The thing is, there’s not a single match of Yuri that is boring. All his matches are entertaining. Felipe Pena is so technical, so amazing to watch – he always brings new stuff. The combination of these two guys fighting, it’s going to be probably one of the best fights – not of the year – but of the decade.
