Former UFC Fighter Kenny Florian Returns To His Roots To Compete Jiu-Jitsu
Kenny Florian will return to his martial arts roots and has signed up to compete in a jiu-jitsu tournament. A former UFC lightweight fighter with a record of 14-6-0, Florian now works as an analyst for UFC on Fox. 

His name is among the list of entrants for the masters 1 (over 30) middleweight black belt division for the IBJJF New York Spring International Open, which will take place on April 9th and 10th. 

Now 39 years of age, Florian is a third degree black belt in jiu-jitsu and won nine of his 14 professional MMA bouts by way of submission. 

The last time Florian is to believed to have competed in a grappling tournament was in 2003.
