How The Copa Podio Grand Prix work

Copa Podio Grand Prix rules means that each group acts as a round-robin where everyone in that group fights each other.

Points are awarded for how athletes win their matches. 5 points are given for a submission victory, 3 for winning by points, 2 for a victory by advantages, and 1 point goes to each athlete for a draw.

After both groups are completed, the two athletes with the most points in each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The athlete with the most points from the yellow group will fight the athlete with the second most points from green, and vice versa.

The overall winner will have needed to fight six times to be crowned champion.
