Marcus Buchecha, Jake Shields Win At Charity Grappling Show 'Submit Cancer'
Tonight, Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida was victorious at the charity grappling event Fight to Win & MusclePharm present 'Submit Cancer', beating Elliot Marshall in the no-gi main event.

Buchecha, who elected to compete in the no-gi bout with no rashguard or t-shirt, used his explosiveness to land a double leg that put him on top.

Marshall could find escape and Buchecha transitioned from half guard to mount before locking on a reverse triangle from the back.

Jake Shields pressures Machida before submission finish

MMA fighters Jake Shields and Lyoto Machida went head to head in the co-main event, with Shields manhandling the larger Brazilian athlete.

Wrestling and top control was key, as Shields used his trademark grinding pressure to wear the Brazilian down.

Machida got to show a little of his guard, throwing up a reverse armlock from bottom.

Shields attacked the legs of Machida in the latter stages of the match and after a leglock battle managed to catch an inside heel hook with around 30 seconds left in the contest.
