The first qualifier for the 2017 ADCC World Championships goes down in Bayville, New Jersey, on Saturday. Although the official brackets for the North American ADCC Trials won't be available until Saturday morning, the final competitor list has been published. Here are some potential, can't-miss matches we hope to see this weekend.

Watch the North American ADCC Trials LIVE on FloGrappling, beginning at noon ET, on Saturday, November 19.

-65kg: Nicky Ryan vs Justin Rader

At just 15 years old, Nicky Ryan has made quite the name for himself. Ryan stands out not only as the little brother of Gordon Ryan but also due to his success in competition, sometimes against opponents much older and higher in rank.

The expectations are high for Ryan, who is the youngest member of the "Danaher Death Squad." He is also the youngest competitor to compete at the ADCC Trials (possibly, the youngest ever). A matchup against Justin Rader, one of the toughest competitors in the bracket, would provide a true test to evaluate Ryan's potential.

Rader has competed at the ADCC worlds a number of times and has faced and defeated a who's who of submission fighting. What better match to authenticate the prodigy of the DDS than to go up against one of Team Lovato's elite competitors?

-76.9kg: Nathan Orchard vs Mansher Khera

Although both competitors share the same bracket as Garry Tonon, this clash of styles feels like it will make for an exciting match.

Favored as a finalist in the division, Mansher Khera is a athlete from Marcelo Garcia's team and is known as one of the squad's top no-gi competitors coming into the trials.

Orchard, who is coming off a win over the dangerous Masakazu Imanari at Polaris 4, not only loves to attack with the patented 10th Planet system (in which he has a position named after him) but also always comes demonstrating a wide variety of submission attacks from every angle, especially with the legs.

-87.9kg: Gordon Ryan vs James Brasco

Gordon Ryan has emerged as one of the most talked-about grapplers out of the Danaher Death Squad. While Ryan unquestionably has become the king of EBI and no time-limit challenge matches, he actually lost at one of the previous qualifiers to Atos athlete Mike Perez.

Since that match, Gordon has become a huge name in the pro superfight world, but many question how he would do once again competing in a ruleset that includes points.

In contrast, James Brasco has won the ADCC trials and has competed in many of the top submission grappling events. Brasco's style is stronger in the wrestling dimensions than Gordon, and his absence from major competitions lately may play as a factor. Or will Brasco's experience in this competition and the rule set be enough to overcome the young submission ace?

+99kg: Tom DeBlass vs James Friedrich

Promoting the ADCC trials is a task in itself, but competing in the same event that you are organizing is a very brave move. And who else would do this than Tom DeBlass?

DeBlass, a part of the Ricardo Almeida/Renzo Gracie team, is one of the biggest voices in the online jiu-jitsu community nowadays. From his positive messages to his instructional videos, this man gets his name out there and is never afraid to put this name on the line in competition. Having won the trials previously, DeBlass has the most experience of all the competitors.

Atos Jiu-Jitsu's James Friedrich is one of the most dangerous competitors who also has ADCC experience is in the same division as DeBlass. Friedrich is an active competitor who in one of his first matches at ADCC 2013 fought against none other than Marcus "Buchecha" Almeida! Friedrich has a vicious leglock game and brings the intense training from Atos/AOJ with him.

Check out how DeBlass and Friedrich's first match at the ADCC Trials went down:
