NFL Defensive Tackle Jason Shirley Wins Gold At Jiu-Jitsu Tournament

Defensive tackle Jason Shirley competed at the IBJJF 2017 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship today in Irvine, California. 

The 6'5", 330lb free agent won the gold medal in the white belt adult ultra-heavyweight division. 

During his football career Shirley was signed to a number of teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals, the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Redskins. 

While playing for the Carolina Panthers he recorded four tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one forced-fumble.
