Third Time The Charm For Joao Gabriel Rocha To Win ADCC Gold?
Silver medallist in 2013 and 2015, Joao Gabriel Rocha is eyeing a gold at the 2017 ADCC World Championships later this year after receiving his official invite.

The Rio de Janeiro-bon grappler, now based in Texas, will make his third trip to the biennial no-gi submissiong grappling tournament.

Competing in the +99kg division in 2015, Rocha fought his way through a 40-minute absolute division final to lose a 0-0 decision to overall winner Claudio Calasans.

Rocha had beaten friend and occasional training partner Rodolfo Vieira in the semi-final earlier in the tournament.
