Dillon Danis grabbed headlines two weeks ago by signing to Bellator MMA, and now we've got the exclusive first look at a photo featuring the jiu-jitsu black belt in his MMA gear.

Danis did an official photoshoot for Bellator on Thursday in Chicago ahead of Friday's Rampage versus King Mo event.

The Alliance-Marcelo Garcia Jiu-Jitsu representative, who has been a vital part of Conor McGregor's training camps for almost a year now, inked a contract with the MMA promotion on March 13, even though he's a 0-0 fighter who has yet to make his debut in the ring or cage.

Danis was accompanied to the shoot by his close friend and training partner Mansher Khera, also an Alliance-Marcelo Garcia black belt. 

No date has been set for Danis to enter the cage just yet -- he said that he is aiming to compete first at ADCC Worlds in September and will focus on MMA after the no-gi tournament. 

The photoshoot was live-streamed, and this clip was posted to Twitter by Bellator.

Dillon Danis vs Jake Shields, Submission Underground 4

Don't forget that Danis will meet Jake Shields in a submission-only no-gi match on May 14 in the main event of Submission Underground 4. 

The bad-blood matchup comes after feuding between McGregor's and Nate Diaz's camps. Danis is a training partner of McGregor, while Shields is a longtime friend and training partner of Diaz.
