With four mammoth super fights headlining the night it's been no secret that this event would big. However looking at the brackets for Saturday this could turn out to be one of the most exciting events of the entire year!

The ADCC World Championships will take place later this year in Helsinki, Finland. The West Coast Trials will be the last chance for any North American grapplers to earn their ticket. The stakes are high and the talent is rich!

Let's take a look at how the brackets shake down.

66kg

With a strong performance at the east coast trials last November Nicky Ryan secures the #1 seed this time around. He'll have to go through a tough top side bracket that includes EBI combat jiu-jitsu finalist Sheridan Moran and CheckMat black belt Ron Henderson.

On the bottom side thirteen 10th planet grapplers will have to fight amongst themselves to come away with an ADCC invite. Alex Canders, Ricky Lule and Mr. 10 Million himself Marvin Castelle all will have to test themselves against teammates in order win it all.

77kg

This weight class is absolutely stacked with some very big names in sport jiu-jitsu looking to lock up their ticket to Finland. The big names here are Vagner Rocha and AJ Agazarm. Although on opposite sides of the bracket it's still a possibility they could meet in the finals and rematch their

Dark horses here include Oliver Taza who placed 2nd at the east coast trials. Marcelo Garcia standout Jon Satava, Gracie Barra's Magid Hage and the always exciting John Combs. A lot of big names are in this bracket and with the ADCC ruleset anything can happen. Keep a close eye on this division tomorrow.

Team Lloyd Irvin's DJ Jackson has been on a tear lately and he'll look to continue his momentum this weekend. In his way stands no-gi World champion Josh Hinger. These are two seasoned competitors who both are capable of medaling in Finland should they win here.

Also vying for gold tomorrow will be Joshua Hayden, Nicholas Greene, and Kyle Boehm. Look for one of them to score an upset.

99kg

The big story here is the inclusion of Kevin Casey. The King has been absent from the submission grappling scene since turning his focus to MMA. It'll be interesting to see how he fits in against a solid lineup of grapplers.

Jimmy Friedrich also returns after placing 2nd at the east coast trials and takes the #3 seed. Nick Schrock, Travis Newaza and Roberto Alencar are also potential medalists to watch.

Ribeiro jiu-jitsu's Casey Hellenberg has had a monster year. After winning no-gi Worlds and Pans just last month he is ready to cement his place as one of the premiere grapplers at heavyweight.

Joseph Moku and Ray 'Kong' Seraile will be standing in his way however and they are no easy task for anyone!

Women's 60kg

The first and only qualifier for the women's divisions has brought a solid crop of talent to the tournament. Atos' Heather Raftery has taken the one seed while Gracie Humaita brown belt and Submission Underground and Fight to Win veteran Rita Lynne has taken the #2 seed.

10th Planet's Lila Smadja will be looking for a rematch against Raftery in the finals after losing last year at the LA Grand Slam. Other names to be on the lookout for include MMA fighter Rachel Cummins and FightSports rep Jasmine Rocha.

+60kg Women's

Gracie Barra's Tammy Greigo has got to be one of the favorites to win the division here but she'll have a very tough first round match against Ricardo Almeida purple belt Amanda Leve.

On the top side of the bracket Carlson Gracie brown belt Tara White is expected to make her way to the finals and continue her current streak of dominance.
