Mahamed Aly's YouTube channel is one of the best sources of training, techniques, and more on the internet -- and his latest video shows his preparation for ADCC later this month in Espoo, Finland.

It's just a shame that it's almost all in Portuguese!

In the intro of his latest video, Aly explains that athletes undergo a lot of stress before a competition: the training, the nerves, the traveling, and so on.

ADCC is known as being way more wrestling-focused than other no-gi grappling tournaments and has maybe one of the most grueling rule sets of all: a maximum possible fighting time of 40 minutes in the final (one 20-minute round, two possible 10-minute overtimes).

To prepare for this physical and mental challenge, Aly's coaches had him run through a series of training sessions designed specifically for the Sept. 23-24 tournament.

And everybody that he wrestled in the video weighs over 220lb!

The workout

Aly explains in the intro (subtitles in English, please!) that he's training seven days a week right now -- which is interesting, considering that ADCC is less than three weeks out.

Even though they've only included approximately nine minutes of the workout in the video, Aly went for a full 40 minutes against a series of fresh bodies while performing active rest on a handcycle.

You can watch the video below. The workout begins at 1:55.
