A silver medalist in 2015, Felipe Pena is training hard for his next run at the title of ADCC champion.

The Gracie Barra black belt released a vlog on his YouTube channel that showed a typical day in the life of his training ahead of the no-gi tournament on Sept. 23-24 in Espoo, Finland.

Starting with a brief intro in his kitchen (in Portuguese, unfortunately) a sleepy-eyed Pena explains that he's working with a nutritionist to gain weight because he's competing in the -99kg division.

He moves into the gym, where he goes through a series of strength exercises with his coach Bruno "Formiga," who explains he's been Felipe's trainer since he was a purple belt.

Pena heads to Gracie Barra Belo Horizonte for a tough training session, rolling with various high-level partners. Also on the mats is Vinicius "Druclino" Magalhaes, one of the most well-respected coaches in Gracie Barra and a driving force in developing jiu-jitsu in BH.

Heading home for a rest, a worn-out Pena gets a second training session at his own gym, which is located beneath his house (yes, his house is really, really big).
