Exclusive: Location For The ADCC 2019 World Championships Announced!

FloGrappling can exclusively reveal the location for the next ADCC World Championships, to be held in 2019. 

Mo Jassim, promoter of ADCC West Coast Trials and longtime ADCC federation member, will be taking the reins as local promoter of the 2019 World Championships. 

The event will head to Southern California for the first time since 2005, when it was held in Long Beach. The venue and date are still TBA, so stay tuned to FloGrappling for more information as it comes. 

We can also announce that the ADCC North American Trials (locations TBA) will take place around September 2018 (East Coast) and April 2019 (West Coast).

Andre Galvao to face Felipe Pena in 2019 superfight

Reigning ADCC superfight champion Andre Galvao will defend his title when he faces off against 2017 absolute division winner Felipe Pena. Galvao defeated Claudio Calasans at the 2017 Worlds and holds the record of the most superfight wins in ADCC history. This will be the first time they have ever fought no-gi.
