Kauã Gabriel, student of Melqui Galvão and teammate of "Baby Shark" Diogo Reis, has been officially invited to the ADCC World Championships.

Kauã Gabriel, student of Melqui Galvão and teammate of "Baby Shark" Diogo Reis, has been officially invited to the ADCC World Championships. Kauã has made the finals of the last three ADCC South American Trials at -66kg, but came up short every time. This will be his first appearance at ADCC Worlds.

The ADCC made the announcement today via Instagram;

The -66kg division is one of the most dynamic and exciting in the sport, featuring some of the best technicians and scramblers alive. In 2022, the divisional placewinners were Diogo Reis, Diego Pato, Gabriel Sousa, and Josh Cisneros. There are now 10 athletes qualified for the bracket.
