Wallid Ismail Joins A Wild Week Of The WNO Podcast

This upcoming group of guests slated for The WNO Podcast this week comprises an eclectic mix: we'll see the winningest woman in ADCC history, Gabi Garcia, legendary jiu-jitsu fighter and promoter Wallid Ismail, world champs Robert Drysdale and Rafael Lovato Jr., and f**king Craig Jones is also back.

You can watch The WNO Podcast LIVE every day exclusively at 5:30pm ET on FloGrappling.com. Take The WNO Podcast with you wherever you go by downloading the audio on all good podcast platforms, such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify

Mon: Gabi Garcia – 5:30pm ET

The only woman to become a four-time ADCC world champion, Gabi Garcia has left a remarkable legacy inside of the grappling arena. The Alliance superstar has been competing at the highest levels of jiu-jitsu and MMA for the better part of the decade and has begun to move into other professional avenues alongside her fighting career.

Tues: Craig Jones – 7:00pm ET

At this point, Craig jones may as well be considered a semi-regular feature on the FloGrappling networks. Always a good time, we'll find out what Jones has been up to in isolation and talk all things jiu-jitsu.

Wed: Robert Drysdale – 5:30pm ET

An IBJJF and ADCC world champion, Robert Drysdale has achieved the highest levels of success inside of the jiu-jitsu world. The Zenith jiu-jitsu leader is also one of the sports finest commentators, a testament to his technical mastery and cultural appreciation of the gentle art.

Thur: Wallid Ismail – 5:30pm ET

This very special episode of WNO features one of the fiercest jiu-jitsu fighters to ever step on the mats. Renowned for his promo skills and gritty, vicious approach to the fight game, Wallid Ismail was the terror of jiu-jitsu and MMA from the early '90s through the 2000s. Currently, Wallid is the president of Jungle Fight MMA.

Fri: Rafael Lovato Jr. – 5:30pm ET

To say Rafael Lovato Jr.'s journey has been one of ups and downs over the past 12 months would be a massive understatement; the IBJJF World Champion achieved his dream of becoming an MMA champion by claiming the Bellator belt after beating Gegard Mousasi last summer. Shortly after, in a stunning and heartbreaking revelation, Lovato Jr. announced that he would be retiring from competition due to a rare brain condition and has instead chosen to focus on expanding his school and grappling competition.
