The biggest IBJJF gi event in the U.S. to date this year, the IBJJF American National Championships is set to kick off on Thursday, June 24 in Las Vegas. Some of the biggest names in jiu-jitsu will make their return to the blue and yellow mats, including 2020 Pan champs, Thiago Macedo, Ronaldo Junior, Fellipe Andrew, Nathalie Ribeiro and more.
The three-day IBJJF American Nationals will also feature a no-gi tournament, using the new rules approved at the beginning of the year, sanctioning heel hooks for adult brown and black belt competitors.
Those divisions will include several long-time IBJJF competitors such as Gabriel Sousa as well as breakout sensations like Jessa Khan, Elisabeth Clay and Pedro Marinho, and new faces to the IBJJF scene such as PJ Barch, and Stanley Rosa.
The middle and medium heavyweight divisions will be the ones to watch in this year's edition of American Nationals. Tune in on Thursday, June 24 through Saturday, June 26, only on FloGrappling.
