2016 FloGrappling Jiu-Jitsu Rankings (Black Belt / Male / Gi)

March 2016, Middleweight Rankings (82.3kg / 181.5lb)

nullThe second major gold medal from Yago de Souza (pictured) is as many IBJJF tournaments (first Euros, now Pans) sees him climb three places from our last ranking. If he keeps up this level of performance, the Sao Paulo native is a strong contender to be a finalist at Worlds.

Once Worlds rolls around and a new champion is crowned we'll see Leandro clear the path, so who knows if Souza could be the one to claim top spot? I'm sure #2 Claudio Calasans will have something to say about that.

JT Torres, at his new fighting weight, comes in at #8 following a bronze at Pans. In at #9 is Vinicius Marinho, who scored a solid win over Dillon Danis in the second round at Pans.
