This weekend promises a trio of absolutely monster events for professional jiu-jitsu: Copa Podio Heavyweight GP, Fight To Win Pro 16, and UAEJJF Tokyo Grand Slam will all be broadcast LIVE on FloGrappling on October 22-23. This means the FloGrappling team will be spread across three continents in order to bring you the very best in bjj coverage. On Saturday, Hywel will be in Sao Paulo for Copa Podio, and Reid is going to Vegas for Fight To Win Pro. On Sunday, Chase will getting lost in Japan for the Grand Slam.

The second event of the UAEJJF Grand Slam kicks off October 23 in Tokyo! The event is only one day and without a no-gi division, but there are plenty of interesting matchups to be seen. Xande Ribeiro and Felipe Pena are in the same division, and Gabriel Arges could likely face Faisal Al Ketbi. Mackenzie Dern is confirmed to compete, plus other jiu-jitsu standouts like Roberto Satoshi, Igor Silva, and Ricardo Evangelista will all be competing. Unfortunately, Luiz Panza injured his knee this past weekend and has been forced to pull out of the event. Don't fret though, Bill "The Grill" Cooper vs. Dustin Akbari has been set has the main event and is sure to be an absolutely insane match. Talita Alencar vs. Maxine Thylin is also on the card. As always there are a total of 25 superfights, featuring the best in local heroes and up-and-coming talent.
