ADCC 2017: Lucas Lepri and JT Torres Join Those Invited
We already reported on Felipe Pena and Roberto 'Cyborg' Abreu as those invited to compete at the ADCC 2017 World Championships, and now two other big names have announced their participation.

Lucas Lepri, who was the -77kg silver medalist in 2015, and ADCC 2013 -77kg bronze medalist JT Torres both posted that they too had been offered one of the coveted invites to the biggest no-gi grappling tournament in the world.

Lepri lost out to Davi Ramos in the final in 2015 but beat Garry Tonon and Otavio Sousa along the way. Torres was supposed to compete in 2015 but withdrew due to injury. This is his first major no-gi tournament since he won IBJJF No-Gi Worlds in 2013.

Torres and Lepri actually met in the semi-finals at IBJJF Worlds last year, a close match that ended with a decision victory in favor of eventual gold medal winner Lepri.
