Baret Yoshida's Crazy Life Story: Jiu-Jitsu In 1994, MMA in Japan & 9 ADCCs

Baret Yoshida is one of the most respected and accomplished grapplers of his generation. A nine-time ADCC Veteran, an early American pioneer fighting MMA in Japan, a jiu-jitsu black belt with almost 25 years experience… He has lived a full life and has the stories to prove it!

Yoshida, humble to the point of being shy, is not one to brag about his crazy life story. It needed somebody to get the good stuff out of him, so thankfully Nick The Tooth was on hand to interview Baret for his podcast, Motus V.

Sitting down with Baret for over an hour, Nick got Baret to open up about:

• Training jiu-jitsu with the Gracies in Hawaii in 1994!

• Going to Japan and living in an MMA gym under the tutelage of Enson Inoue

• Training with BJ Penn back in the day on Hawaii

• Being flown out to Abu Dhabi for a month at a time to train with the Sheikh behind the ADCC

• Competing in EBI

• and much much more!
