In a last ditch effort by both men to qualify for the IBJJF World Championships later this month Dillon Danis met Gracie Barra's AJ Agazarm in the finals of the medium heavy division today at the IBJJF Atlanta Open.

Of course these men have a bit of history, they met in the main event of Submission Underground III back in January. Dillon won via ride time in overtime. However this time around with points and the gi involved Danis routed the jiu-jitsu bad boy with sweeps, guard passes and multiple submission attempts to take the gold medal and qualify for Worlds.

Dillon is also preparing for Submission Underground 4 next weekend against the former Strikeforce Champion Jake Shields.
