The 20-year-old moved to San Diego from Greenville, South Carolina to train at ATOS full-time from two years ago and the results speak for themselves:  Gold 2017 Pan Championships (including a win over 3x NCAA Champion Wrestler Ed Ruth), Gold  2017 World Pro, Double-Gold at 2016 No-Gi Worlds, to name a few victories.

But while the past 8 months have seen DeAngelis blow by the competition, it' hasn't been a straight line to success: DeAngelis lost his very first match at 2016 World Championships and will surely be hungry to erase that from memory.

Luckily for him, the rising star has had a camp tailor made for an up-and-coming heavyweight: Galvao as coach, Erberth Santos, Lucas Barbosa, Josh Hinger and others as training partners.

We're looking forward to watch the continuing progression of an up and coming athelte.
