Road To Worlds: Inside Gracie Barra Northridge Competition Team Training

The talent level of Team Romulo Barral inside the Gracie Barra Northridge academy in Northridge, CA, is downright is staggering ahead of this week's IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championship.

Gabriel Arges and Edwin Najmi are two of the most promising black belt competitors on the planet. Felipe Pena is looking cap an already incredible 2017 with a world title. Perennial contender AJ Agazarm is switching things up and dropping down to featherweight for the first time, and hungry colored belts such as Servio Tulio are eager make a name for themselves on June 1-4 in Long Beach, CA.

All this, plus the fact that Sensei Romulo Barral, a five-time world champion, is out of retirement and hungry for gold. You could say that's a fairly stacked roster. Below are some photos of the team's Worlds camp. Stay tuned for interviews, videos, and more.
