Seven Slick Submissions You May Have Missed From Worlds
With so much action at the IBJJF World Championships, you may have missed some of the many submissions this past weekend in Long Beach, CA. Catch up on the best moments from the black belt divisions with these matches:

Meregali blitzes Leite

Meregali's sub-three-minute destruction of Lucas Leite turned the heads of the crowd. Meregali's relentless movement on top proved too much for the noted half-guard specialist, which led to Meregali getting the back and finishing with a choke.

Malfa turns up the pace

Bruno Malfacine versus Tomoyuki Hashimoto stayed at 0-0 for the longest time, with the roosterweight king ahead by just one advantage. But a last-minute flurry saw Malfa go up seven points and finish with a tight armbar.

Watch:

Erberth's signature move

Erberth hit a savage kneebar versus Fernando Reis in the super heavyweight quarterfinal. The leg attack has become one of his signature moves, but few opponents have figured out a solid answer for the attack.

Watch:

Lepri lets the technique flow

Lucas Lepri displayed his trademark technical jiu-jitsu against Jake Mackenzie. The Alliance star choked the GF Team veteran en route to becoming lightweight champ.

Watch:

Canuto's spectacular flying finish

Jaime Canuto  and Josh Hinger went to war in the opening rounds of the middleweight division, trading sub attacks throughout their back-and-forth match. Canuto sealed it with a fantastic flying armbar late in the match.

Watch:

Satoshi slick as always

Roberto Satoshi is one of the guys who you just can afford to blink while watching. The Japanese Brazilian is dynamic and entertaining. His triangle win over the very tough Marcelo Mafra was one of those matches -- fast, decisive, and fun to watch.

Watch:

Wardzinski puts on the pressure

Polish black belt Adam Wardzinski is an up-and-coming athlete representing Checkmat and one of the brightest European prospects. He took out the game Tanner Rice in the heavyweight division, an athlete Wardzinski had lost to earlier this year at Europeans.
