2019 FloGrappling No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Rankings

77kg No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Rankings

ADCC champ JT Torres has not competed no-gi at all in 2018, allowing for a sizeable change in the make-up of this rankings.

You could say that Renato Canuto had a hell of a year. The Checkmat black belt topped the podium at the KASAI Pro 170lb tournament, beating no.3-ranked Vagner Rocha in the final and then again later at KASAI Pro 4 in a single superfight.

Gianni Grippo's World and Pan No-GI gold medals place him second, as they were won at 73.5kg (162lbs). Given the competition he had to face in both events and the value of a title in an IBJJF "major" event, Grippo's position at no.2 is deserved.
