2019 Female Black Belt Gi Rankings

Pound-For-Pound

Nathiely de Jesus claims the top spot after winning her weight and the open class at Worlds. Silver medalist in the open and gold at her weight at Worlds, womens GOAT Bia Mesquita is an easy choice for the second spot. Despite winning double gold at Pans and defeating Nathiely, Gabi Garcia slips to number three after sitting out Worlds.

Update: New black belts entering the P4P. Gabi Pessanha has head to head victories over Nathiely, but no major black belt open class wins. Ana Rodrigues and Thamara Ferreira are other 2019 brown belt World champs who enter the P4P rankings after strong performances at the Los Angeles Grand Slam.
