Morning Motivation: Casey Hellenberg Punches Ticket To ADCC
The ADCC World Championships are only a few months away and it's time to pack away the gi and start getting hyped for no gi season!
Casey Hellenberg battled his way through a crowded +99kg at the 2017 ADCC West Coast Trials. After edging out Jospeh Moku in the semi-finals Casey faced off with Jesseray Childrey for all the marbles. Cash prize, gold medal, and a chance to represent the USA at the ADCC World Championships later this year.
The Ribeiro jiu-jitsu rep wasted no time in finishing the fight snatching a leg after a well-timed judo throw from Childrey. Hellenberg insured that he'll compete against the likes of Tom Deblass, Orlando Sanchez and Luiz Panza with the win.
