AJ Agazarm's Submission-Only Controversy

A somewhat controversial match featuring AJ Agazarm — we’ve never heard that before!

Up against Chai Sirisute of 10th Planet, AJ went in and dominated his submission-only bout at Fight To Win Pro 61 this past Saturday.

Though AJ was in control the entire time, one of the three judges made the decision to score the match in Chai's favor.

Did the referee see something we didn’t? And does the controversy come from a misunderstanding of how submission-only matches are judged?
