Man I feel super tired but it's worth it. I've been dedicating myself to this goal since January, training all day. Taking time away from my family, my son, my daughter. But when it comes to this moment where I get the gold medal, it's worth it. I'm so happy.
Mendes had a very tough match with Marcio Andre in the final and the defending champion had his hands full against a very game opponent.
I won five times but I know the guy is hungry and wants to beat everybody else, that's how I prepare myself to go there and be able to win.
