Team Modolfo has made the announcement that they will be taking the Team New Wave big man Dan Manasoiu to the finals in December, bringing even more starpower to their loaded team. After winning their qualifier - but dropping a match to Team Universal Fighters - Team Modolfo has continued to tweak their roster with additions like Mica Galvao. They are currently one of four teams who will meet in Kazakhstan, under AIGA rules to determine the 2023 league champion.

UFC Fight Pass Invitational 4 took place tonight at the UFC Apex and delivered with high-level grappling action headlined by Craig Jones and Felipe Pena, with Craig winning by escape time over the former ADCC absolute champion. In the co-main event, UFC veterans Glover Teixeira and Anthony rematched from their 2020 UFC bout, with Teixiera winning by decision. Nick Rodriguez defeated three men in the same night, including Dan Manasoiu in the finals, to win the $30,000 grand prize. Also on the card, Nicholas Meregali defeated Cyborg Abreu, Helena Crevar won in dominant fashion, and Roman Bravo-Young grappled Alex Perez to a draw.

The 2022 ADCC 88kg World Champion Giancarlo Bodoni is getting his moment in the spotlight. On January 31, FloSports will release the feature length documentary, Becoming Dangerous: The Rise of Giancarlo Bodoni (more on that below). But first, breaking news about Bodoni, who has just signed to face the Tezos WNO light heavyweight champion Pedro Marinho in the co-main event at Tezos WNO: Ryan vs Pena II.

Dan Manasoiu won the open weight Emerald City Invitational tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5 in Atlantic City, NJ, collecting the $5,000 prize with two submissions in regulation and one in overtime.

ADCC 2022 is just a few days away, and while some teams are sending one or two athletes to the event — a feat, itself — others are sending armies. These are the largest teams headed to ADCC in Las Vegas this weekend:

The ADCC 2022 World Championships are, to our rampant excitement, just days away. All 97 athletes have been named to the six divisions and the singular historic superfight. But the brackets have not yet been revealed.

The ADCC World Championships are now just three weeks away, and many of the athletes qualified or invited to compete in the anticipated biggest event in history are taking their last chances to test their games on the competition mats. Among the roster of athletes who competed at Tezos WNO: Who’s Next Finale, there were four ADCC Trials Winners, two ADCC 2022 invitees, and one returning ADCC Champion.

The first ever season of Who's Next came to a culmination on Thursday night, and after a wild series of events Izaak Michell walked away with the $10,000 plus an additional 10,000 TEZ and the title of Who's Next Season One champion. Izaak and opponent Kyle Chambers went at it for over two hours, on two different mats, before Izaak was eventually able to secure an armbar finish after controlling the majority of the match.

The vacant Tezos WNO Heavyweight Title is up for grabs, and tonight, either Gordon Ryan or Pedro Marinho will take the belt home. 5-0 on WNO, Gordon Ryan hasn’t lost a match in nearly 50 bouts, and has become increasingly dominant at each turn on the mat. But his opponent, WNO Light Heavyweight Champion Pedro Marinho is looking to avenge a three-year old loss, and prove that he belongs in the conversation among the best in the world.

America’s birthday weekend doesn’t get as much attention in other parts of the world. While fireworks went off in the Land of the Free, there were two major events in Europe: London played host to RAW grappling and Honor Submission Challenge took place in Italy.

The season one final for Who’s Next: Submission Fighter Challenge presented by Tezos has been decided, and on Thursday, July 14, the two finalists will square off in the main event of Tezos WNO: Who’s Next Finale presented by Fat Tire.
