At ONE 167: Tawanchai vs Nattawut 2, Mikey Musumeci got a measure of revenge in submitting former opponent Gabriel Sousa and Kade Ruotolo won his MMA debut by submission in a display of classic jiu-jitsu.

Mikey and Gabriel squared off in a highly anticipated 145lb grappling match, a rematch from a 2021 match wherein Gabriel submitted Mikey. Here it was flipped, Musumeci scored the submission with a calf slicer that he secured from a K guard inversion a few minutes into action.

Kade Ruotolo was successful and dominant in his MMA debut, winning by first round submission by rear naked choke over Blake Cooper. After walking out in a gi with his black belt, the Atos black belt started the fight for the first few minutes on his feet before eventually securing the body lock and back control. This fight took place at 155lbs.
