Ocean BJJ Pro kicks off live this weekend from Sardinia, Italy with no-gi action featuring World Champions & European stars. Everything kicks off on September 21st at 1pm CT, with two men's brackets and two smaller women's brackets.
The men's divisions will be sixteen-man brackets, meaning 4 victories for gold. 12 of the athletes will be local representatives and the remaining 4 will be featured professionals. The women's brackets will be four women each.
The featured professionals will be;
-80kg
- Fabyury Khrystyan
- Tarik Hopstock
- Espen Mathiesen
- Marcin Held
+80kg
- Sebastian Rodriguez
- Tommy Langaker
- Luccas Lira
- Manuel Pilato
The brackets will be randomly drawn with each featured athlete in their own quarterfinal. To win their divisions, each featured athlete will have to beat two of the other elite professionals. For a local athlete to win, they will likely have to beat three - a monumental task that could launch any of them to international notoriety.
