Kade Ruotolo Wins Third MMA Bout By Arm Triangle At ONE 171
Kade Ruotolo moved his MMA record to 3-0 with a dominant performance at ONE 171: Qatar
BJJ star Kade Ruotolo was successful in his third MMA bout at ONE Championship 171: Qatar, winning by submission in the very first round in a dominant display. This is Kade's third win by finish in his MMA career and after the match he won a $50,000 bonus for his performance.
Kade is also the ONE lightweight grappling champion and FloGrappling's #1 ranked 170lb male grappler on Earth.
The fight started quickly, with Kade landing a head kick before jumping into a leg lock attempt in the ensuing scramble. Kade was never in danger as he continued his onslaught until he found the back, then the mount, then the submission finish by way of arm triangle. It was aggressive, violent, and impressive for the burgeoning MMA star.
Kade Ruotolo is a CJI Champion and ADCC World Champion who is known for his wild style and equally impressive twin brother Tye. The brothers have been grappling stars for years and now Kade continues his transition to MMA with another sterling performance. Kade's style is very submission focused, with tons of positions where he can launch into darces, leg locks, back takes, and more. He's also as gritty and scrappy as any competitor in the sport.
