BJJ Stars 15 continues to add monumental matchups to the card and we now have the feature women's match of the evening, as Gabi Pessanha will defend her absolute title against Tayane Porifirio. This is shaping up to be a monumental event with several big super fights and an 8-man middleweight Grand Prix already announced. Everything goes down live on FloGrappling, April 26th, emanating from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Gabi is the most successful and dominant female grappler of all-time already, and is still early in her prime. She has won the double grand slam for three consecutive years now, with an undefeated streak that reaches over 150 matches. Her overall game is stellar and the gap only appears to be widening as she submits everyone dominantly.

Tayane, for her measure, is one of the only women who can meaningfully compete against Gabi's size and strength, plus her experience and technique. She's a former absolute champion in her own right and this win would reignite her career and stamp her as the best in the world today. Still, tall mountain to climb.

Gabi won this absolute championship in a prior grand prix at BJJ Stars and now she turns that around to defend here for the first time.

BJJ Stars is also set to feature a major featherweight matchup between Diogo Reis and Meyram Maquine, Erich Munis and Adam Wardzinski, as well as an 8-man no-gi grand prix under ADCC rules. There will be plenty more matchups announced over the next few days, including some potential legends matches that fans will really like.
