Grappling star Roberto Jimenez has stepped in on late notice to replace Gabriel Almeida at BJJ Stars 15, with only a few days until the major middleweight no-gi grand prix begins. BJJ Stars 15 will be going down live exclusively on FloGrappling on April 26th, with some of the best in the world facing off in major matches.

The event organizers made the announcement on Instagram today;

Roberto has been on one of the hottest streaks of the year, winning at WNO 26 with a flying armbar before a double silver run at IBJJF Pans. He brings incredible jiu-jitsu and a constant action that has made him one of the true gems of grappling. Watch out for his scrambles, armbars, and back takes from everywhere. This tournament - and weight class - is even better with his inclusion.

The BJJ Stars middleweight grand prix is bringing together eight world class grapplers to compete in a one night tournament for R$50,000. The tournament will be headlined by ADCC Champion Mica Galvão, who won the Super Grand Slam last year, and now also features four top-15 ranked middleweights.
