UFC Fight Pass Invitational 11 Live Updates

Main event time. Adele pulls and is into her knee shield. Slow pace here, Ffion trying to drive through on the knee cut. Adele closes the guard. Very deliberate pace from both. Ffion stands and breaks, back to half guard. Very close round. Round two, double pull this time. Adele snaps into an achilles grip and is cranking an Aoki. I think I heard a pop but Ffion stays super tough and escapes. Back to knee shield. Ffion still doing really well on top engaging on her terms or getting out. Ffion laces an Aoki from top but doesn't fully commit. Ffion now mixing in more loose passing attempts. Two rounds done, another close one but that deep submission attempt has to shade the second to Fornarino. Third round up, Adele opens up with a kani but doesn't connect. Back to knee shield vs knee cut. Adele moves to the false reap. Now Ffion working in more scoop grips, but Fornarino keeping her guard strong. 2:30 left. After another minute, Adele works back to closed guard. Ffion opens the guard and the match will end.

  • Ffion Davies def. Adele Fornarino by decision

We are already to our co-main event, Raquel Canuto and ADCC Champion Ana Carolina Vieira. After four minutes of hand fighting, Ana is able to use a body lock for a pair of takedowns. The round will expire there. Second round, both women committing to their wrestling. Four minutes in, Raquel shoots but ends up in a choke. It's a deep guillotine but Raquel manages to escape but accepts bottom position. Late in the round she hops on the legs but can't accomplish much. Third round starts and Raquel shoots early but again ends up in a guillotine. After a long minute, she frees herself and Raquel is on top. With ninety seconds left she opens the guard and they escape to their feet. Match will end there and it's decision time.

  • Ana Carolina Vieira def. Raquel Canuto by decision

Feature match of the night, Achilles Rocha and William Tackett at 185lbs. Should be scrappy or quick. Tackett goes single to the back, he's quickly onto a body triangle. He laces the rear naked and finishes in under a minute!

  • William Tackett def. Achilles Rocha by rear naked choke at 0:38 of round one

Mason Fowler back to take on Christiano Troisi. Fowler back after a layoff due to injury, glad he is back. Troisi pulls. Mason uses a deep knee cut to pass into north south. He isolates an arm and then latches onto an armbar but ends up losing it in closed guard. He is quick to move right to the omoplata and secures a seatbelt grip to finish in round one.

  • Mason Fowler def. Christiani Troisi by omoplata at 3:53 of round one

Francisco Lo taking on Enrico Said. Said super under the radar but he's a prospect to watch out of VRMA. Lo a genuine veteran at this point, he's seen it all. Francisco hits him with a nasty wrist snap and pass, but Enrico escapes. Now they are wrestling for a long time, essentially the rest of the round passes without much else happening. Second round begins, they wrestle for a minute until Said pulls. Lo passes well around the sides. Francisco rolls into the calf slicer. There is serious pressure but we end up spending about two and a half minutes here until the round ends. Before round three Lo says he has an issue with his eye. Said uses a knee tap to get on top in a body lock. They reset and Francisco sweeps up to mount! Said right back out though. Lo sits, he is trying to hold guard and wait out the decision by now, low on energy. Said passing aggressively and Lo manages to navigate into an armbar and then closed guard. The match will end and we go to the judges. They call it a draw.

  • Francisco Lo vs Enrico Said ends in a draw

Alex Enriquez taking on Shye Lilly. It was originally Jasmine Rocha vs Alex but Jasmine had serious medical issues during the cut and had to withdraw. Alex opens with a nice takedown, she has a clear wrestling edge here early. Alex jumps over the top for a guillotine. She transitions to the darce and uses that to also pass. Shye escapes. Alex passes and armbars, but the buzzer sounds. Second round, Shye pulls and Alex spins to the back, she's lacing in a rear naked choke but Shye escapes again. Enriquez continues to pass but Shye's escapes are on point. Within the final thirty seconds, Alex snatches on the tarikoplata and then to the armbar and finally manages to get the finish.

  • Alex Enriquez def. Shye Lilly by armbar at 4:55 of round two

2024 World silver medalist Keven Carrasco taking on Sebastian Oyervidez at 135lbs. Gotta imagine whoever wins ends up seeing Mikey at some point. Keven jumps the kimura to pass early, extends the armbar, but Oyervidez escapes. Close one. The next scramble up and Sebastian ends up stuck in a triangle. He goes gable grip to modify the choke, it's a teepee choke and he taps him.

  • Keven Carrasco def. Sebastian Oyervidez by teepee choke at 2:00 of round one

We kick things off with a shorter notice catchweight match with Joao Assonitis and Danny Maira. Round one, they double pull and are ripping heel hooks early. No taps, so they are working through the arsenal of Woj locks and Aoki locks. Maira changes the tempo and comes up to knee on belly but Joao is right out. Now Maira rolls and looks calf slicer but now Joao comes up to side control. Round one ends, no scores are announced. Second round, Joao pulls and moves to 50/50. Danny moves to toe hold the secondary leg but leaves his leg out and Joao gets the heel hook win.

  • Joao Assonitis def. Danny Maira by inside heel hook at 1:49 of round two
