On the final day of competitions at the 2025 IBJJF World Championships, a rematch of some of the best of the light-feather weight fighters will take place in the finals match. At the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California, Diego Pato will take on Diogo "Baby Shark" Reis for the World Championship title.

In the black belt semifinals, Pato dominated his competitor, Shoya Ishiguro, building an early advantage and holding on to advance to the finals. Baby Shark struggled, unable to gain an advantage, with his opponent Leonardo Mario taking the match down to the wire.

With their wins, Pato and Baby Shark advance to the light-feather weight black belt finals, where they will meet on the mat at 4:38 PM ET.
