Stay up to date with all the action at the inaugural UFC BJJ with live updates all through the card, headlined by three title bouts as they crown their first champions at 135lbs, 155lbs, and 170lbs. All title matches come after the first season of UFC BJJ: Road to the TItle, 

We'll be adding to this page through the evening with all the results and notable moments from the Apex in Las Vegas, NV. Most recent results at the top. All the matches will be happening with CJI-style rules, scoring, and pit structure.

UFC BJJ 1 Results

Main event time, Mikey Musumeci taking on Rerisson Gabriel. Mikey hops at Rerisson, wanting to be taken down. and Rerisson just sort og shoves him over. They end up standing and it happens again. Mikey does not have very much on the feet. Mikey wraps into a leg but Rerisson slips the knee out. Mikey ends up sweeping up to top, but falls back into a leg. He's into a saddle. He's looking for an inside heel hook. It's in but Rerisson able to put weight back into it and he must be pretty flexible. He rolls out and escapes. Mikey attacks toe hold, outside heel hook, kneebar, Rerisson escaping some very deep attacks through one round. Easy Mikey round.

Second round, Mikey hops again until Rerisson shoves him over. Mikey playing from an underhook De La Riva. Rerisson navigating danger. Mikey pummels into another leg entanglement, he's getting so deep on these attempts but isn't getting the tap. Rerisson escapes to guard, Mikey on top and jumps around to the side. Mikey on a front headlock. Rerisson escapes, Mikey hops on another inside heel hook and it's deep but another escape. One minute left. Mikey easily up 2 rounds, likely by more than two points.

Third round. Same to start, Rerisson on top. Mikey on a leg. Outside heel hook and Mikey finally gets the tap.

Andy Varela taking on Andrew Tackett for the UFC BJJ welterweight title. 45 seconds in, Andrew runs through Andy with a takedown. Andrew working hard to pass, he is into a smash position and finally into knee on belly. Andy turns away, Andrew takes the back and he will finish with an arm triangle that he laces like a rear naked. He's the champ. After the match Renato Canuto signals he wants next and they face off.

Our first UFC BJJ Championship bout, Danilo Moreira taking on Carlos Henrique. They are 1-1 in IBJJF competition before this, each winning by two points. Moreira comes out with an aggressive pull into legs, Carlos navigating and stepping safely. Carlos pummels into a rear calf slicer, Danilo responds toe hold, they reset to the feet. Good early action. Carlos pulls and wrestles up to top. Carlos using a shin staple well from top but the pace has slowed. Danilo sweeps up to top, then falls back to bottom. Carlos applying pressure, Moreira threatens kimura but Carlos slips it. Close, fun round.

Second round. Carlos uses an underhook to throw Danilo by and nearly take the back, Danilo manages to escape with a roll and a lot of flexibility. Danilo playing guard and retaining as Carlos uses the headquarters to apply pressure. Danilo can't get much of a grip on Carlos, but Carlos can't pass. Round will end, I would have it 1-1 going into the final round.

Third and final round. They trade top position early but Danilo ends up on top but in 50/50. Carlos stands, Danilo pulls. Back to the shin staple. Dainlo scoops a leg, he transitions to X guard and a crab ride. Carlos sits into an armbar. He gets the tap and wins the belt.

Keith Krikorian taking on João Assonitis. They are wrestling heavy to begin. João grabs a leg, big lift and takedown and transitions right into an armbar/triangle attempt but ends up on bottom in closed guard. Keith breaks the guard, now he's working for passes as João hunts for a catch on something from bottom. João pulls into a leg, Keith falls back to defend and escapes. Keith goes over the top for a front headlock, João rolls with it. Keith now mixing up loose and right passing attempts until the end of the round. Might be João's round, but very close.

Round two. Keith opens up with a single leg, then knee cuts and is trying to sit to the back but now João sits up and wrestles to top. Keith stands. Keith with another single leg. João trying to false reap as Keith applies pressure. João gets to saddle, Keith rolls, escapes and comes up to a seatbelt in the scramble! He gets on top in turtle but João is denying hooks. Keith applies the RNC without any hooks and gets the tap anyway!

Cassia Moura taking on Talita Alencar. Cassia pulls closed guard, Talita falls back to the legs but they stand. Cassia arm drags her way to top. Cassia passes and spins to the far side control. Talita turns in and Cassia jumps to the back, sinking both hooks. Cassia sinks a rear naked but Talita rolls across the pit wall to escape. Cassia pummels for more choke attempts until the round expires. Easy round for Cassia.

Round two. Cassia comes out and scores another powerful takedown. Talita playing a seated guard as Cassia moves from the outside, now she jumps into side control. As Talita comes up, Cassia looks armbar but Talita escapes. Now Talita has a look at the back but Cassia bails to guard. Talita goes leg drag, pummels her way into the saddle with both legs controlled. They end up there the rest of the round. Probably another round for Cassia.

Round three. Talita gets warned for a hard collar tie/club. Cassia trips her way into an ankle pick and gets the takedown. Cassia nearly passes but Talita reguards. They stand. Cassia with another takedown in the final minute.

Felipe Pimental taking on Pedro Machado. Felipe shoots early with a double leg into the pit wall. He's stuck in the closed guard, as he stands to break it Pedro just stands. Felipe shoots into another guillotine attempt but clears it. Machado reverses position in the final seconds. Tough round to score.

Second round. Not much going on the first few minutes. Pimenel is melting a little. Machado gets the takedown, passes to mount, hits the triangle for the finish.

Bella Mir vs Carol Joia. Carol pulls to knee shield. Bella passes using a front headlock, then goes to turtle. Carol reguards. Bella grips an arm triangle, uses it to pass, and mounts. Carol survives and escapes. Easy round for Bella.

Second round, Carol pulls again. She inverts to a leg but Bella escapes. Now she will pass again into north south. As Carol wrestles up, she gets caught in a darce and Bella will get the win by submission.

We begin with Keven Carrasco and Ty Costlow. Carrasco drags his way up to get on top, then passes the guard almost immediately. Costlow manages to stand and escape. Costlow pulls into a leg but Carrasco evades. Carrasco hits a foot sweep but can't hold him down. Keven pulls into a triangle, He adjusts and finishes in the first round.
