Two of the best heavyweights on Earth will meet in grappling action at WNO 29 when Roosevelt Sousa takes on Igor 'Fat Ninja' Tanabe. These are two big, strong, agile, and active heavyweights who are aiming to put on a show in Miami, Florida - with big stakes for both men.

Roosevelt Sousa is still fresh off the biggest win of his career when he was able to capture ultra-heavyweight gold at the IBJJF World Championship. He showed an aggressive game all tournament, knocking off the defending champion and number one seed on the way to the top of the podium and now he gets the chance to carry that momentum into WNO. Roosevelt is notable among the heavyweights for his willingness to scrap and scramble - and he's always down to take on the best in the world.

Igor Tanabe makes his return to jiu-jitsu super fight action with this match after several years away focusing on MMA. He's back on the mats full-time now and this will be his chance to reignite his career for fans who haven't seen him compete since 2020. The Fat Ninja has always been a fan favorite whenever he takes the mats, with fun, aggressive, and innovative jiu-jitsu.
