What's Happening In Jiu-Jitsu
-We are gearing up for a big weekend in jiu-jitsu, with six events on FloGrappling alone. That includes WNO 29 on Friday, BJJ Stars on Saturday, IBJJF Pan Kids all weekend, along with several other super fight shows. PGF will also begin this Wednesday with their eighth season. Catch some good matches this week!
-In an interview with Marcelo Alonso, ADCC organizer Renato Santos dropped the first public indication about ADCC 2026's location - Poland. This would be the first ADCC in Europe since 2017. Renato also indicated his personal preference of 2028 being in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
"The next ADCC, they haven't announced it yet but from what I've heard it's going to be in Poland," - Renato Santos, ADCC organizer
-Sarah Galvão was announced as the fourth and final woman in the CJI 2 bracket for $100,000. She joins Adele Fornarino, Helena Crevar, and Ana Carolina Vieira.
-The Team Americas CJI 2 regional squad (which can pull from North and South America) added Gavin Corbe as the -66kg, with Deandre Corbe bumping up to -77kg.
-You can go watch all of the IBJJF black belt world finals on their YouTube page right now.
-Helena Crevar signed a contract to compete with ONE Championship. It's notable this is not an exclusive contract, as Crevar still intends to compete in other organizations like WNO and Polaris.

- No-Gi Worlds will be Dec 11-13 in Las Vegas, NV
- No Gi Pans will be October 3-5 and returning to NY - specifically Hempstead

-Mikey Musumeci and Craig Jones have apparently agreed to debate the merits of exclusive contracts and their role in jiu-jitsu on Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson's podcast in August
-The 'BJJ World Championships' held another event in Austin, TX, with the most notable performance coming from Nebraska-born Corbin LaPorte - he won the teams event basically by himself with all submission wins. The (FKA) B-Team crew is high on LaPorte's potential.
