Most recent results are at the top. Early rounds we will mostly cover upsets and wins by the most notable names, since so much is going on. Once things get down to the top-16's we will list every match.

Final match of the day, Abraham Coby Martinez taking on Mark Macqueen. MacQueen on top early with a body lock. After points set in, Mark gets to work passing, taking the back, and winning with the rear naked choke. He has done it again, he is heading to Worlds!

Big one now at -99kg, Declan and Marcin with a spot on the line. Declan body locks his way on top. Declan passes now, and he's got a seatbelt grip but Marcin reguards. Another pass ends up in an entanglement and Marcin wrestles up to top. Just before points Marcin accepts bottom again. Declan passes, he's got the back and the choke. He wins Trials with all submissions!

Santeri and Pawel now up at -88kg. Pawel shoots and sits. He's looking to entangle legs. He pulls into 50/50 with an achilles grip. Santeri clears. Points are active now. We go to overtime. Santeri snaps and spins early to the back, but Pawel rolls to guard. One minute left, not much has happened. Going to decision. Pawel takes the decision and will be heading to Worlds!

null

Taza and Dhzarbaev up now. Oliver shoots but ends up in bottom position. He wrestles into a nice underhook and now a Coyote guard where he's working on the back. Dhzarbaev escapes. Taza trying to heist up from guard for ankles but Dhzarbaev not engaging very much. Another Coyote guard exchange but no change and now points are live. Dhzarbaev engaging the guard now more, he's using a stack pass to some effect. We're into OT now, on the feet. Taza moving forward more but mostly diving at ankles for his offense. Dhzarbaev counters with a double leg but Taza escapes it off the mat. Dhzarbaev with another solid single leg attempt that Taza escapes. Taza shoots and pulls now. Decision time, let's see. Magomed Dhzarbaev will win! He qualifies for his first ADCC Worlds.

null

Men's finals now, starting at -66kg. Andrii Chernitskyi vs Niko Mikuliszyn. Even though he can't pull, Niko is able to safely find seated guard early. Andrii jumps his way into a spinning armbar! Nearly gets it but can't finish, back wrestling. Andrii trips Niko down, back to seated guard vs standing. Points are active now. Niko butterfly sweeps his way up, then wrestles to the back! He gets the body triangle, he sinks in the choke, he wins! Niko Mikuliszyn is our first man on the way to ADCC Worlds! He's only a purple belt, seventeen years old, and he just made a huge statement.

null

We are going now at +65kg with Jessika Torttila and Natalia Starast. Jessika counters a double leg with an uchi mata to get on top early. She force her opponent to turn and she is onto the back! Just as points hit, Natalia reguards. Jessika pressures her way backt turtle and is on the back with hooks! She leads by three. Natalia escapes again but can't launch any offense before time expires. Jessika wins!

Finals time! Up first here, Ana Mayordomo and Ashley Bendle. Remember the women don't qualify for Worlds here. Ana pulls and she's in closed guard. Mir lock! She wins with all subs, very impressive. Injana Goodman and Viktoria Rejzek up next at -65kg. Early on Injana nearly to the back, Viktoria must escape and ends up in bottom side control. Injana is keeping heavy from top half guard as she tries to pass again now that points are active. Viktoria escapes and is able to entangle a leg. She's got an outside ashi, Injana works to the back but we end up going back and forth until overtime. Back to the feet. Injana turns a takedown scramble into two points after returning Viktoria down to the mat in closed guard. Viktoria chasing after wrestle ups but is unable to connect on anything, Injana will win.

null

Pawel Jaworski wins after a cut on Tarik couldn't be closed in a timely manner. Pawel advances. Declan with another submission win, he's gone all subs so far into the finals. There he faces world-ranked Marcin Maciulewicz in the most anticipated match of the tournament. Speaking of Pawel he is back up again in the semifinal and already right to work. Once points hit he ends up on the back and then mount for a five point lead. He's into the finals against Lilius.

Andrii with a beautiful heel hook finish and he's into the finals! Him and Niko are both young and exciting, what a big opportunity for either man.

Pawel and Tarik take the mats, big clash between European finishers here. Pawel goes for the legs but Tarik counters to the back. Pawel escapes. On the other mat, Santeri is attacking Marlon's guard in a semifinal at -88. Tomas and Magomed go to OT, Magomed right in on a double leg to the back. All four mats are on fire right now, this is the Trials action we show up for. Marlon is attaching to Santeri's legs better but the pressure of Santeri is nuts. Pawel and Tarik back to their feet. So are Marlon and Santeri. Marlon explodes up to the back but Santeri escapes! One minute. We go to decision, I feel like Marlon did a lot more there. But Santeri takes it!

null

Semifinals starting now at -66 and -77. Niko and Spyridon up on one mat, Tomas and Magomed on the other. In the first thirty seconds, Niko sweeps to mount! He won't get points but he has a chance at the finish. He is spending minutes hunting but can't secure it. He transitions to the back, scores, and finishes! Niko Mikuliszyn is in the finals, what a breakout day for this young man.

Declan and Mateusz Mazur are up now. Declan is just unstoppable here with his passing, he forces the turtle but loses the back. Few subs in a row now with Declan Moody, Selma Vik, and Mark Macqueen all earning the tap in short order. Ana Mayordomo is soon after with her own submission win.

-88 quarters are up now, there are many significant matches. Faris & Santeri on one mat, Marlon & Linus on another. Marlon playing guard looking to submit, Linus trying to pass. They will go to OT, these are two young thoroughbreds here with a lot on the line. Overtime. Marlon wrestles his way to the back! He scores 3 and makes the semifinals. On the other mat, Santeri finds the inside heel hook and wins by submission.

null

Heikki and Mark Macqueen facing off first round, it's crazy this isn't the final. Mark picks up a single and puts Heikki down but no points yet. He passes and gets to the turtle, sinks hooks and scores! Very impressive from Mark. Still 2 minutes left and Mark uses a body lock to mount and up his lead to 8. He wins and moves on.

null

These quarterfinals at -88kg are nuts, the only one left to set is Pablo Rosales (of BJJ College) or 2x Trials champ Santeri Lilius. Oliver Taza is also up now as the -77 quarters begin. His opponent Flaga pulls and Taza is working to pass and finally does. Across on the other mat, Santeri is on Pablo's back but no hooks. He finally will score with only seconds remaining.

null

-88kg quarterfinals

  • Patryk Rekman vs Karol Kania
  • Tarik Hopstock vs Pawel Jaworski
  • Faris Ben-Lamkadem vs Santeri Lilius
  • Linus von Schrenk vs Marlon Tajik

-99kg quarterfinals

  • Marcin Maciulewicz vs Samuel Karas
  • Adam Nabawy vs Phillipe Geyer
  • Moritz Kollensperger vs Vladimir Bulatovic
  • Mateusz Mazur vs Declan Moody

Crazy rear naked choke from Patryk Rekman, the young -88kg advances and does it with style. Natan Sap blows open his match with a sweep to mount during points. The brown belt world champ is into his first quarters at Trials. Overtime here for Faris but he explodes with the early takedown and scores 2.

null

Pawel Jaworski and Tarik Hopstock both win at -88kg, setting up a big quarterfinal there. Speaking of quarters, we have our first at -66kg already with Shai and Niko. It's very close as they head into overtime. Both men trying to find something from the feet but no one can break through. It'll go to 0-0 decision... Niko takes it. He's young and dynamic and he's into the semifinals. That same mat four starts up the next quarter, Spyridon against Jack Sear. It's going to go to overtime after near scores from both men late. Spyridon catches the guillotine and gets the tap to advance! He's been on a mission today.

-77kg quarterfinals

  • Sebastian Patyk vs Mateusz Kuca
  • Oliver Taza vs Mateusz Flaga
  • Magomed Dzharbaev vs Natan Sap
  • Damiano Grillo vs Tomas Smirnovas

At -77kg, Oliver Taza will use his wrestling to get the takedown and two points over Jed Hue, he advances again. It's a really similar situation to Gordon/Pena last year where Jed did most of the work but ultimately accepted bottom position after he couldn't get the back, which resulted in two points. Taza has to be the all-time leader in Trials wins. Damiano Grillo, from Italy but training in Atos Atlanta, also moves on and has been looking really good.

null

-66kg Quarters

  • Niko Mikuliszyn vs Shai Gerena
  • Jack Sear vs Spyridon Karkanas
  • Andrii Chernitskyi vs TBD
  • Fionnbar Carey vs Sean Stewart

Round of 16 rolling out now, winners are in the quarters. Declan Moody is up on 4. He is quickly into side control and cruising to a dominant top game win. We also have Salla and Eleftheria meeting first round of +65, in my mind this is the real final. In regulation, Eleftheria scores but now Salla chases the back late - she won't get it, Eleftheria wins. Greece's Spyridon Karkanas wins by submission over Martin, that's very impressive. Niko uses a guillotine to get on top in overtime in his match, that'll score 2 and advance him.

Gogoplata sighting! Jack Sear with the rare submission to move on at -66kg. He has a real shot here with the field so open.

null

-55kg Quarterfinals

  • Ana Mayordomo vs TBD
  • Paraskevi Roustani vs Josefine Modig
  • Giulia Angiolini vs Maruša Šmigoc
  • Indy Briar vs Ashley Bendle

Marcin Maciulewicz finally takes the mats at -99kg, he's working from top but falls back to his guard as points hit. He inverts around and finds the outside heel hook. Marlon Tajik is back up, he uses a big hip toss early to get on top. He has been can't miss action today! On the women's side, Ashley Bendle, Ana Mayordomo, and Selma Vik all advance.

-99kg Top-16

  • Declan Moody vs Kasparas Strazdas
  • David Angelo vs Mateusz Mazur
  • Vladmir Bulatovic vs TBD
  • Nikita Berkovic vs Moritz Köllensperger
  • Phillipe Geyer vs Dawid Peplowski
  • Adam Nabawy vs Leevi Suikkanen
  • Josef Pučelik vs Samuel Karas
  • Marcin Maciulewicz vs Edoardo Cristilli
null

+99kg Top-16

  • Mateusz Juskowiak advances to top-8 by walkover
  • Mikko Pouro vs Abraham Cody Martins
  • Jannis Leonhardt vs Tom Inglis
  • Teemu Sikanen vs Maarten Bauwens
  • Heikki Jussila vs Marc Macqueen
  • John Winter vs Mohanad Azab
  • Anton Orlov vs Ben Francis
  • Francis Pignoti Pana vs Damian Golko

The top-16 at -88kg are basically set, the biggest match to watch next round has got to be young Pablo Rosales taking on 2x Trials Champ Santeri Lilius.

-88kg Top-16

  • Patryk Rekman vs Tim Wegener
  • TBD vs TBD
  • Tarik Hopstock vs Luca de Boni
  • Pawel Jaworski vs Max Bickerton
  • Faris Ben-Lamkadem vs Michael Pharoah
  • Santeri Lilius vs Pablo Rosales
  • Linus von Shrenk vs Aleksander Domagala
  • Otto Kuikka vs Marlon Tajik

Faris up on 3. Women's matches are now also trickling out. Though he can't score, Faris does manage to work enough from top to earn a clear decision. Santeri wins with a heel hook to make the top-16. Coming up soon more of the big men are rolling out - we have another insane matchup first round at heavyweight when two trials winners face off. Marc Macqueen and Heikki Jussila somehow drew one another at +99kg and one man will be out early.

We are rolling out matches at -88kg and up early is Pawel Jaworski. The leg locker is now playing top, we will see if he can adjust. Another big one up on 4, with Marlon Tajik taking on Tyrone Gonsalves. Wow, Marlon explodes up to the back and he will sink hooks and the choke! He wins by submission, that was super impressive. Marlon on fire here at -88kg. Pawel also pouring it on now after finally passing guard. He will win 13-0.

null

-66kg Top-16

  • Niko Mikuliszyn vs Nadav Bar-Gil
  • Shai Gerena vs Marcus Phelan
  • Vladyslav Kryshevych vs Jack Sear
  • Spyridon Karkanas vs Martin Rapčan
  • Yam Tores vs Andrii Chernitskyi
  • Simone Grillo vs Liam Morgan
  • Fionnbar Carey vs Robert Diggle
  • Arash Khallaghi vs Sean Stewart

-77kg Top-16

  • Sebastian Park vs Mazhid Kurakhov
  • Mateusz Kuca vs TBD
  • Oliver Taza vs Jed Hue
  • Mateusz Flaga vs Ben Robson
  • Thomas Barry vs Magomed Dzharbaev
  • TBD vs TBD
  • William Tregart vs Damiano Grillo
  • Tomas Smirnovas vs Tom Maenurm

Another tough one here at -77kg, Kurakhov taking on Los Banditos's Christian Ozbek. Russia's Kurakhov already took out Asare, so he is really looking to make a run if he can win here too. He scores two on a takedown but Ozbek back up and firing back. The Russian will win. Linus also back out to take on Guiseppe Lamanna at -88kg. He will win 3-0 after showing off his top game again.

Ireland's Marcus Phelan picks up the win over Hejraat Rashid with a late back take, this -66kg is so open now he may be the guy. Jed Hue on the mats and he snatches an arm early! He's electric to watch. Him and Taza are up next in my favorite round of 16 match.

null

Early favorite Yigit Hanay of Turkey is out now at -66kg again, taking on Nikodem Mikuliszyn. Niko has a really tricky guard and Yigit can't get anything going against it in regulation. They stand back up for OT. A few back and forth exchanges, Niko doing very well at the end of the scrambles. We go to decision... upset! Niko takes out the top seed to advance to the top-16. Martin Rapcan also advances with a seven point victory and Robert Diggle gets a one minute heel hook win.

null

At -66kg, Jack Sear snatches an inside heel hook to submit UFC veteran JP Buys. Sear is a training partner of Owen Jones and a dark horse here in the bracket. Declan up now at -99kg. He's showing off that stellar guard passing he's becoming known for and finishes with an RNC.

Pretournament speculation was correct - Poland's Mateusz Szczeciński will not be competing here as he continues to recover from surgery. That's a big bonus to the other guys in his weight. On another mat, top Polish prospect Mateusz Mazur also advances with a win at -88kg.

null

WNO veteran and student of BJJ College Pablo Rosales is in the brackets! We missed his name in registration but he's a very interesting wildcard at -88kg. Six Blades big man Tyrone Gonsalves also snatches a submission to advance. Marlon os Atos is up again and he gets another leg lock win.

null

Tournament favorite Yigit Hanay looks to have recovered from his tough weight cut with some early submission wins. Hejraat Rashid and Marcus Phelan both win a match to set up a great early one in the round of 16. Also coming up will be Jack Sear and JP Buys.

Big upset early! Davis Asare of Kingsway, who was in the last Trials finals at this weight, won't even advance past the first round after dropping a decision early on. They mostly end up wrestling and it's his Russian opponent Kurakhov walking away the victor. Others like Oliver Taza, Jed Hue, and Natan Sap advance to top-16.

null

The early favorites roll here at -88kg, with wins from Tarik Hopstock, Faris Benlamkadem, Pawel Jaworksi, and more. WNO veteran Linus von Schrenk wins as well and advances, so does Atos's Marlon Tajik. RGA's Carson Coles drops an early submission.

Keep an eye out for Salla Simola and Eleftheria Christodolou at +65kg for the women, they are slated for a first round bout - and that could have been the final!
