Roberto was most recently in action on WNO, beating Ryan Aitken by decision. Roberto has been on top of the game for a while now but, as he's begun to hit his physical prime, he's had a really stellar and active 2025. He won by crazy flying armbar at WNO 26, he made the finals of the BJJ Stars GP, he put the gi on for crazy runs at Worlds and Pans, and more. Now he gets the chance to add another major achievement to his career as he jumps back in the deep end.
Roberto joins six other set black belts, with the final eighth spot being filled by a local Pittsburgh grappler to be decided by a qualifying tournament the week prior. Expect brackets and first round matchups as the event draws nearer.
