What's Happening In Jiu-Jitsu
-It's WNO week! This Friday we will crown a new heavyweight champion, with Felipe Pena facing off against Kingsway heavyweight contender Luke Griffith. In the co-main event, Diego Pato will defend his 155lb championship against Deandre Corbe. Helena Crevar will also be making her first title defense, Gabi Pessanha makes her no-gi super match debut, and more. Find more of our content around the event here.
-We announced the undercard, three matches featuring local talent from different gyms around Austin, TX. Those matches will be:
- Joslyn Molina vs Katie Bochenek
- Grayson Henley vs Michael Bannach
- Sean Magnus vs Nick Fritz
-After an injury to Andy Murasaki, his match with Dante Leon at WNO 31 was canceled. We look forward to having both men on in 2026.
-IBJJF South American Championships went down, with many of the best from around Brazil and beyond coming together to face off. Champions included double gold Vinicius Liberati, Giovanna Jara, Jessica Caroline, and more. Full results here.
-Pound-for-pound #1 Helena Crevar is booked to face off against Teshya Alo at ONE Fight Night 39. Alo has extensive experience in judo, wrestling, and BJJ.
-Sarah Galvão announced she has signed a multi-match contract with Polaris.

- WNO 31: December 5th in Austin, TX, we decide the new heavyweight champion with a major main event match between Luke Griffith and Felipe Pena.
- ADCC Asian Trials: December 7th in Bangkok, Thailand, five more tickets get punched to the World Championships in Poland
- IBJJF World No-Gi Championship: December 11-13th, we will crown world champions in the toughest IBJJF no-gi tournament of the year
