There has been a major shakeup for this Friday's WNO 31: Pena vs Griffith - with the highly anticipated lightweight title fight between Diego “Pato” Oliveira and Deandre Corbe off due to illness, we are bringing you a fresh replacement bout as Oliver Taza faces off with Chris Wojcik in the middleweight division.

Taza, one of the most established veterans in the North American no-gi scene, brings years of elite experience, a dynamic leg-lock arsenal, and a track record of great performance under the bright lights. He now gets another chance to shine on the WNO stage, where he is no stranger with several great performances in the sub-only ruleset.

Across from him Friday night will be Chris Wojcik, a surging contender who has become known for his unique leg locking style and the signature foot lock he has been using against the best in the world - The Woj Lock. Wojcik has been on a steady rise, and a win over Taza would mark his biggest victory in super fight competition to date.

It's definitely unfortunate that Pato vs Corbe was off, as many fans were really looking forward to that match in particular, but WNO 31 is still a really stacked night of grappling - with multiple title matches, Gabi Pessanha's no-gi super fight debut, Xande Ribeiro back in action, and the most skilled grapplers in Austin going at it.

WNO 31 streams live on FloGrappling this Friday, starting 7pm CDT. There will be an undercard airing live on YouTube, followed by a service-exclusive main card.
