What's Happening In Jiu-Jitsu

-ACBJJ returned with ACBJJ, featuring a mix of grapplers and MMA fighters. In major results, there were six champions crowned including Laranjinha Costa, Pedro Marinho, Jonnatas Gracie, Gairbeg Ibragimov, and Ruslan Abdulaev. In the main event, Arman Tsarukyan of the UFC won by submission.

-IBJJF announced the return of their absolute grand prix, taking place February 26th, 2026. It will be men's no-gi, and likely filled out with a few super fights.

-IBJJF World Champions João Bisnaga and Fabricio Andrey will face off at ONE Fight Night 40 in February of next year.

-PGF will be running a 175lb season next year for their ninth edition. Last season PGF moved from a one week format to multi-week. 10th Planet's Sam Schwartzkapfel won the Pasadena qualifier they ran recently.

-GrappleFest will be partnering with ADCC and become their official European super fight show, including rules and preferential booking of ADCC standouts.

-ADCC absolute champion Adele Fornarino signed a multi-match deal with Polaris, ideally debuting in 2026. She is the WNO 115lb champion, IBJJF and ADCC World Champion, and currently 4th pound-for-pound.
