Day two action kicks off tomorrow at 3am central, with finals expected around 1:30pm central. This is the first regional qualifier with women's spots on the line, so expect some incredible matches with lots on the line in those divisions.

Several established names handled business early, navigating tough opening matches while avoiding major upsets. The biggest upset of the day was actually in the final match of the session when Anton Dmitrakov submitted former Trials winner Heikki Jussila in regulation. Ranked grapplers like Faris Benlamkadem, Ana Mayordomo, and Taylor Pearman all scored submission wins in their lone matches. The mat time was spread evenly across divisions but the level was consistently high - no easy paths and many submission finishes.

With day one in the books, the stage is set for a crazy final day as the brackets narrow toward qualification for the ADCC World Championships. If the opening rounds are any indication, fans should expect more chaos, more finishes, and a final push from the region's best to punch their ticket to the world stage.

The top 64 men at at -66kg, -77kg, & -88kg have advanced to day two. The top 32 grapplers at -99kg (men), +99kg (men), -55kg (women), and -65kg (women) all advance to day two. All 20 women at +65kg women advance to day two, no matches have been contested yet at this weight.
