What's Happening In Jiu-Jitsu
-ADCC Worlds, which is just weeks away, saw a big shakeup with athletes dropping from three divisions, -66kg, -88kg, and +65kg. At +65kg, returning champion Rafaela Guedes dropped out and instead 12-time IBJJF Champion Gabi Pessanha has entered - a huge development for that division.
-IBJJF announced several more seminars for Jiu-Jitsu Con including seminars from Heath Pedigo, Roberty Drysdale, Leo Vieira & the women of CheckMat.
-New World rankings have dropped for no-gi, featuring multiple new world #1's including Andrew Tackett at men's 170lbs, Helena Crevar at women's heavyweight, and Elisabeth Clay at women's 145lbs.
-UFC BJJ 10 went down in Las Vegas, with Andrew Tackett and Brianna Ste-Marie winning by submission in the promotional title matches.
-PBJJF has opened up their registration for Worlds in October, taking place in Maryland.
-The first UFC BJJ Opens went down in Las Vegas, with notable champions including Raajus Dewan and Elder Cruz.
-Nicholas Meregali briefly feinted that he was going to withdraw from this week's planned match against Felipe Pena but then stayed in.
