Polaris Jiu Jitsu Invitational on FloGrappling

Mark your calendars! The Polaris Professional Jiu-JItsu Invitational takes place Sept. 12 in Cardiff, Wales, and we're streaming it live to the world.

Commonly known as Polaris 2, Europe’s biggest submission-only event began last year thanks to the efforts of apparel brands Scramble and Tatami. The event pits 16 of the world’s best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters in a one-day extravaganza. The day will consist of 15-minute gi and no-gi matchups, and the lineup includes former/current world champions, ADCC title holders, and icons of the sport.

Polaris 2 will begin at 2:30pm ET (6:30pm GMT) Sept. 12. In each match, no points will be scored. Victory is obtained only through submission.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Pedro Bessa vs Luca Anacoreta
  • Tom Barlow v Gianni Grippo
  • Robson Moura vs Baret Yoshida
  • Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro vs Nakamura Daisuke (followed by intermission).
  • Eddie Cummings vs Reilly Bodycomb
  • AJ Agazarm vs Daniel Strauss
  • Michelle Nicolini vs Gezary Matuda
  • Garry Tonon vs Masakazu Imanari
Polaris is extremely excited to be working with FloSports on bringing our next event to the public,” Scramble founder and owner Matt Benyon said. “We’ve seen what FloWrestling has been doing on the wrestling scene for many years, so it’s our great pleasure to partner with them for the online distribution of Polaris 2.
