The full results for the IBJJF San Jose Open Jiu-Jitsu Championships (both gi and no-gi) are now available. 

In the gi, Tanner Rice bounced back from a disappointing run at the recent U.S. Pro Jiu-Jitsu tournament in Long Beach and came through to win the black belt medium-heavy and openweight divisions. Also taking gold were Samir Chantre in the light featherweight division, Joseph Moku Kahawai Jr in the ultra heavyweight, Kristina Sofia Puruganan Barlaan in the women's featherweight, and Pati Fontes in the women's openweight. 

No-gi, Kim Terra took both the lightweight and absolute black belt gold. He had placed silver in the gi lightweight division the day before. There were far fewer competitors for no-gi, and Brian John Morizi of Clark Gracie took top spot in the busiest of divisions, winning medium-heavyweight gold.
